MP2225 High-Efficiency, 5A, 18V, 500kHz Synchronous, Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2225 is a high-frequency, synchronous, Wide 4.5V-to-18V Operating Input Range rectified, step-down, switch-mode converter Adjustable Output Voltage as low as 0.6V with built-in power MOSFETs. It offers a very Low 47m/18m R of Internal Power DS(ON) compact solution to achieve a 5A output current MOSFETs with excellent load and line regulation over a High Efficiency up to 97% wide input supply range. The MP2225 has Fixed 500kHz Switching Frequency synchronous mode operation for higher Synchronizes from a 200kHz-to-2MHz efficiency over the output current load range. External Clock 2.4ms Internal Soft-Start Time Current-mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. 1% Reference Accuracy at Room Temperature Full protection features include over-current Internal Power-save Mode protection and thermal shut down.
