MP2009 Ultra-Low-Noise Low-Dropout, 120mA Linear Regulator The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2009 is an ultra low noise, low dropout Space-Saving SC70 Package linear regulator. The output voltage of MP2009 16V Output Noise (100Hz to 30kHz) No RMS ranges from 1.5V to 4.5V in 100mV increments Bypass Capacitor Required and 1% accuracy by operating from a +2.0V to 78dB PSRR at 1kHz +6.0V input. It is designed to deliver up to 120mV Dropout at 120mA Load 120mA continuous output current. It achieves a Stable with 1F Ceramic Capacitor for Any low 120mV dropout for full load current. Load Low 50A Ground Current The MP2009 uses an internal PMOS as the Very Fast Line and Load Transient pass element, which consumes 50A supply current at no load condition. New innovative Response with Small Input and Output Capacitor design techniques make MP2009 achieve ultra- low output voltage noise of 16V without a Current Limit and Thermal Protection RMS noise bypass capacitor. APPLICATIONS The MP2009 are designed and optimized to Cellular and Cordless Phones work with low value, low cost ceramic VCOs capacitors in space-limiting and performance PDA and Palmtop Computers consideration. It requires only 1F (typ) of Digital Cameras output capacitance for stability with any load. Base Stations It is available in a 5-pin SC70 package.
