EVQ3367-R-01A 6-Channel, Maximum 150mA/Ch Boost WLED Driver with 15000:1 Dimming Ratio 2 and I C Evaluation Board DESCRIPTION FEATURES The EVQ3367-R-01A is an evaluation board 3.5V to 36V Input Voltage Range designed for the MPQ3367, a step-up converter 6 Channels with Maximum 150mA per with six channel current sources. It is designed Channel to drive the white LED arrays as backlighting for Internal 100m, 50V MOSFET small- or medium-sized LCD panels. Configurable Switching Frequency Up to 2.2MHz The device uses peak current mode as its PWM External Sync SW Function control architecture to regulate the boost Multi-Dimming Operation Mode through the converter. Six channel current sources are PWM Input, including: applied to the LED cathode to adjust the LED o Direct PWM Dimming brightness. The MPQ3367 regulates the current o Analog Dimming in each LED string to the value set by an external o Mixed Dimming with 25% or 12.5% current-setting resistor, with 2.5% current Transfer Point regulation accuracy between strings. 15000:1 Dimming Ratio in PWM Dimming A low on resistance MOSFET and headroom when f 200Hz PWM voltage are provided to improve efficiency. The 200:1 Dimming Ratio during Analog 2 MPQ3367 has a standard I C digital interface for Dimming through the PWM Dimming Signal easy use. The switching frequency can be Input 2 configured via a resistor, I C interface, or Excellent EMI Performance external clock. The LED current also automatically Thresholds decreases at high temperatures.
