This device o 94% Efficiency 2A, 92% 4A supports NVDC architecture with power path o Fast Charge Time by Battery Path management suitable for different portable Impedance Compensation applications, such as tablets, MID, and smart o USB OTG phones. Its low impedance power path o 94% Efficiency 5V, 1.2A OTG optimizes efficiency, reduces battery charging 2 o Selectable OTG Current Outputs time, and extends battery life. The I C serial 3.9V to 12V Operating Input Voltage Range interface with charging and system settings Highest Battery Discharge Efficiency with allows the device to be controlled flexibly. 10m Battery Discharge MOSFET up to 9A The MP2624A supports a wide range of input Single Input USB Compliant Charge sources, including standard USB host ports and Narrow System Bus Voltage Power Path higher power wall adapters. The MP2624A Management detects the input source type according to the o Instant On Works with No Battery or USB Battery Charging Spec 1.2 (BC1.2) and Deeply Discharged Battery then informs the host to set the proper input o Ideal Diode Operation in Battery current limit. Also, this device is compliant with Supplemental Mode USB2.0 and USB3.0 power specifications by Constant-Off-Time Control to Reduce adopting a proper input current and voltage Charging Time under Low Input Voltages regulation scheme. In addition, the MP2624A High Accuracy of Charging Parameter supports USB On-The-Go operation by 2 IC Port for Flexible System Parameter supplying 5V with current up to 2.0A . Setting and Status Reporting The power path management regulates the Full DISC Control to Support Shipping Mode system voltage slightly above the set maximum and System Restart 2 voltage between the battery voltage and the I C High Integration programmable lowest voltage level (e.g. 3.6V). o Fully Integrated Power Switches and With this feature, the system is able to operate No External Blocking Diode and Sense even when the battery is depleted completely or Resistor Required removed. When the input source current or o Built-In Robust Charging Protection voltage limit is reached, the power path including Battery Temperature Monitor management reduces automatically the charge and Programmable Timer current to meet the priority of the system power o Built-In Battery Disconnection Function requirement.
