The GMRS-21A is a two-way radio transceiver manufactured by Nissei used mainly in the Japanese market. It operates on the General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) band, a part of the UHF spectrum reserved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for short-distance use. The radio has a full-featured design and provides up to 8 Watts of power. It has a built-in microphone, external connections for earphone/microphone, and can scan up to 32 channels. It can be powered by a dry-cell battery pack or an AC adapter.
