The MOTION 2 CLICK click board with motion sensor from MikroElektronika is a sophisticated module specially designed for motion detection applications. It features a PIR (passive infrared) sensor, a type of sensor primarily used for detecting motion of objects in close proximity. The board has an EKMC1607112 3.3/5VDC GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) which is used to control the motion sensor signal. The board also features an integrated infrared filter to minimize false triggers due to sunlight. The MOTION 2 CLICK click board is designed to be used in various types of projects involving motion detection, such as door or window contact sensors, robots and home automation.
