This chip enables industrial grade applications by offering state-of-the-art selectivity/co-existence, excellent link budget, operation up to 125C and low voltage operation. In addition, the CC2520 provides extensive SO 1 21 NC hardware support for frame handling, data SI 2 20 AVDD1 buffering, burst transmissions, data encryption, CSn 3 19 RF N data authentication, clear channel assessment, GPIO5 4 18 NC CC2520 link quality indication and frame timing GPIO4 5 17 RF P information. These features reduce the load on GPIO3 6 16 AVDD2 the host controller. GPIO2 7 15 NC In a typical system, the CC2520 will be used AGND together with a microcontroller and a few exposed die attached pad additional passive components.
