M8078 is a part of Microtran, a computer-based system used to simulate complex electrical networks. It simulates physics-based electrical power system components, such as transmission lines, transformers, and generators, amongst others, and allows the user to develop a complete electrical model of a system. M8078 is an advanced simulation module and allows the user to simulate the impact of frequency and voltage regulation on an electrical system. It can also be used to design harmonic analyses, analyze an electrical system under various load scenarios, and provide detailed reports with information about the root cause of any issues and possible solutions.
