Revision 1 - Advance Datasheet ZL70584 EKG/ECG Surge Protection Device Features Description Protects Electrocardiographic (ECG) Monitoring The ZL70584 is an eight-terminal IC designed to protect Equipment (ME) Against Effects of Defibrillation Electrocardiographic (ECG) Monitoring Equipment when a defibrillation event occurs. The fast-acting device integrates the Very Small Size and Very Low Leakage zener diode and SCRs into a single, fully tested, RoHS- Integrates Zener Diodes and SCRs into a Single IC compliant integrated circuit. When used in the conjunction with Facilitates Compliance with IEC 60601-2-25 and the recommended circuit, the ZL70584 facilitates compliance IEC 60601-2-27 with IEC 60601-2-25 and IEC 60601-2-27. The ZL70584 is based on proven technology in use today to protect Extremely Fast Turn-On implantable pacemakers and neurostimulators from Eight Terminals defibrillation events.
