SY54017AR Low Voltage 1.2V/1.8V CML 2:1 MUX 3.2Gbps, 2.5GHz General Description The SY54017AR is a fully differential, low voltage Precision Edge 1.2V/1.8V CML 2:1 MUX. The SY54017AR can process clock signals as fast as 3.2GHz or data patterns up to Features 3.2Gbps. 1.2V/1.8V CML 2:1 MUX The differential input includes Micrels unique, 3-pin Guaranteed AC performance over temperature and input termination architecture that interfaces to LVPECL, voltage: LVDS or CML differential signals, (AC- or DC-coupled DC-to- > 3.2Gbps throughput from a 2.5V driver) as small as 100mV (200mV ) PP <310ps propagation delay (IN-to-Q) without any level-shifting or termination resistor networks in the signal path. For AC-coupled input <20ps input-to-input skew interface applications, an internal voltage reference is <95ps rise/fall times provided to bias the V pin. The outputs are CML, with T Ultra-low jitter design extremely fast rise/fall times guaranteed to be less than <1ps cycle-to-cycle jitter RMS 95ps. <10ps total jitter PP The SY54017AR operates from a 2.5V 5% core supply <1ps random jitter RMS and a 1.8V or 1.2V 5% output supply and is <10ps deterministic jitter PP guaranteed over the full industrial temperature range High-speed CML outputs (40C to +85C).
