The PD-3501GC/AC with Power over Ethernet (PoE) from Microchip is a single-port gigabit midspan that enables the delivery of power and data over existing twisted-pair Ethernet infrastructure. This product uses IEEE 802.3af PoE technology to provide power on a single Ethernet cable, allowing a network device to be powered without the need for an additional power source.
