MIC69101/103 Single Supply V , LOW V , LOW V , 1A LDO IN IN OUT Features General Description Single Input Voltage Range: V 1.65V to 5.5V The MIC69101/103 are the 1A output current member IN of the MIC69xxx family of high current, low voltage Maximum Dropout (V V ) of 500 mV over IN OUT regulators, that support currents of 1A, 1.5A, 3A, and Temperature 5A. The MIC69101/103 operates from a single low Adjustable Output Voltage Down to 0.5V voltage supply, yet offers high precision and ultra-low Stable with 4.7 F Ceramic Output Capacitor dropout of 500 mV under worst case conditions. Excellent Line and Load Regulation Specifications The MIC69101/103 operate from an input voltage of Logic-Controlled Shutdown 1.65V to 5.5V. It is designed to drive digital circuits Thermal Shutdown and Current-Limit Protection requiring low voltage at high currents (i.e. PLDs, DSP, 10-Pin 3 mm x 3 mm DFN Package microcontroller, etc.). These regulators are available in 40C to +125C Junction Temperature Range adjustable and fixed output voltages including 1.8V. The adjustable version can support output voltages Applications down to 0.5V. Point-of-Load Applications The Cap design of the MIC69101/103 is optimized for Industrial Power stability with low value low-ESR ceramic output Sensitive RF Applications capacitors. Features of the MIC69101/103 include thermal shutdown and current limit protection. Logic enable and error flag pins are also available. The MIC69101/103 are offered in a tiny 10-pin 3 mm x 3 mm DFN package and has an operating temperature range of 40C to +125C.
