MIC5254 Dual 150mA Cap LDO with Error Flag Outputs General Description Features The MIC5254 is an efficient, precise, dual CMOS voltage Input voltage range: 2.7V to 6.0V regulator. It offers better than 1% initial accuracy, Dual, independent 150mA LDOs extremely low dropout voltage (typically 135mV at 150mA) Error flags indicate fault condition and low ground current (typically 90A) over load. The Stable with ceramic output capacitor MIC5254 features two independent LDOs with error flags that indicate an output fault condition such as overcurrent, Ultra-low dropout: 135mV 150mA thermal shut-down and dropout. High output accuracy: 1.0% initial accuracy 2.0% over Designed specifically for handheld and battery-powered temperature devices, the MIC5254 provides a TTL-logic-compatible Low quiescent current: 90A each LDO enable pin. When disabled, power consumption drops Tight load and line regulation nearly to zero. Thermal shutdown and current limit protection The MIC5254 also works with low-ESR ceramic Zero off-mode current capacitors, reducing the amount of board space necessary TTL logic-controlled enable input for power applications, critical in handheld wireless devices. 10-pin MSOP package Key features include current limit, thermal shutdown, faster transient response, and an active clamp to speed up Applications device turnoff. The MIC5254 is available in the 10-pin MSOP package and is rated over a 40C to +125C Cellular phones and pagers junction temperature range.
