MIC24053 12V, 9A High-Efficiency Buck Regulator with Hyper Speed Control Features General Description Hyper Speed Control Architecture Enables: The MIC24053 is a constant-frequency, synchronous buck regulator featuring a unique adaptive on-time - High Delta V Operation (V = 19V and V IN OUT control architecture. The MIC24053 operates over an = 0.8V) input supply range of 4.5V to 19V and provides a - Small Output Capacitance regulated output of up to 9A of output current. The 4.5V to 19V Voltage Input output voltage is adjustable down to 0.8V with a 9A Output Current Capability, Up to 95% guaranteed accuracy of 1%, and the device operates Efficiency at a switching frequency of 600 kHz. Adjustable Output from 0.8V to 5.5V The Hyper Speed Control architecture allows for 1% Feedback Accuracy ultra-fast transient response while reducing the output Any Capacitor Stable-Zero-to-High ESR capacitance and also makes (High V )/(Low V ) IN OUT operation possible. This adaptive t ripple control 600 kHz Switching Frequency ON architecture combines the advantages of No External Compensation fixed-frequency operation and fast transient response Power Good (PG) Output in a single device. Foldback Current-Limit and Hiccup Mode The MIC24053 offers a full suite of features to ensure Short-Circuit Protection protection of the IC during fault conditions.
