MIC22601 4 MHz, 6A Integrated Switch Synchronous Buck Regulator Features General Description Input Voltage Range: 2.6V to 5.5V The MIC22601 is a high efficiency 6A Integrated switch synchronous buck (step-down) regulator. The 4 MHz PWM Frequency MIC22601 is optimized for highest efficiency (greater Output Voltage Adjustable Down to 0.7V than 90%), while still switching at 4 MHz over a broad Output Current Up to 6A load range with only 0.22 H inductor and down to Small Passive Components: 0.22 H and 22 F 22 F output capacitor. The ultra-high speed control Full Sequencing and Tracking Ability loop keeps the output voltage within regulation even under extreme transient load swings commonly found Power-on-Reset/Power Good in FPGAs and low voltage ASICs. The output voltage Ultra-Fast Transient Response, Easy RC can be adjusted down to 0.7V to address all low voltage Compensation power needs. A full range of sequencing and tracking 100% Maximum Duty Cycle options is available with the MIC22601. The EN/DLY Fully Integrated MOSFET Switches pin combined with the Power Good PG/POR pin allows Micropower Shutdown multiple outputs to be sequenced in any way during Thermal Shutdown and Current-Limit Protection turn-on and turn-off. The RC (Ramp Control) pin allows the device to be connected to another product in the 24-Pin 4 mm x 4 mm QFN MIC22xxx and/or MIC68xxx family, to keep the output 40C to +125C Junction Temperature Range voltages within a certain V on start up. The MIC22601 is available in a 24-pin 4mm x 4mm Applications QFN with a junction operating range from 40C to High Power Density Point-of-Load Conversion +125C.
