Additional Infomation About Product

The MCP1640T-I/CHY is a step-down DC-DC switching voltage regulator manufactured by Microchip. It operates at up to 500 kHz and has a maximum output current of 300 mA. It is a synchronous Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) / Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) switching voltage regulator with an adjustable switching frequency or constant frequency operation. It features programmable soft start, and over current and thermal protection. It provides up to 95% efficiency and includes an odometer function for long-term logging to keep track of total current flowing. This device is ideal for systems with low noise and high efficiency requirements.
