The HV9980WG-G is a high-voltage control IC from Microchip Technology. It is designed to provide an adjustable constant-current output to drive high-brightness LEDs, offering protection against short-circuits and over-temperature conditions. The HV9980WG-G features a single-channel current-programming system with adjustable current levels between 0.1mA up to 2.25A. It includes an integrated voltage limiter and high-side switch, as well as other protection features. In addition, the HV9980WG-G includes a wide selection of output and switching frequency options, including PWM dimming, offering flexibility for LED driver applications.
