The Microchip 25LC160/SN is a serial EEPROM memory chip. It is a 16Kb EEPROM, meaning it has the capacity to store 16 Kilobits of data. It has a standard 2-wire serial interface, complies with the I2C protocol, and operates with a clock frequency up to 3.4MHz. The 25LC160/SN contains a bidirectional shift register, an address latch and 16K of EEPROM memory cells, organized as 128 bytes. With a maximum write cycle time of 5 ms and a write operation of 1 ms, the 25LC160/SN ensures reliable and fast operation for data storage applications. It has an operating voltage range of 2.7–5.5 V, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and a storage temperature range from -65°C to +150°C.
