The 24C01CT/SN is a 1-kilobit serial EEPROM component manufactured by Microchip Technology. It uses the I2C serial protocol, which employs two bidirectional communication lines, serial data (SDA) and serial clock (SCL). It has an operating voltage range of 1.8 - 5.5 volts and a maximum operating temperature of 85°C. It features the write protect (WP) pin, which allows write protection of the memory contents. It also has an 8-bit device address allowing up to 256 devices on a single bus. Its high write endurance, 100,000 cycles and data retention of up to 100 years makes it ideal for use in data logging, remote control and other non-volatile data storage applications.
