The SP483EEN-L/TR is a 5V low power half duplex RS-485 transceiver manufactured by MaxLinear as part of the SP483 series. The transceiver has a maximum data rate of 250 kbps and is housed in an 8-pin NSOIC package. It features low quiescent current, high data rate, low EMI/RFI, 10 Mbps operation in half duplex mode, and a 2-way disable feature. It is designed for RS-485/RS-422 applications including networking, fieldbus, industrial automation, and military/aerospace systems, and is qualified for operation in many temperature ranges.
