Industries The B1017-12 is an industrial precision temperature sensor produced by Litton Industries, an electronics manufacturer. The B1017-12 is a Platinum Resistance Temperature Detector (PRTD) which is designed for use in extreme temperature ranges from -200°C to 900°C. It is a low-cost alternative to much more expensive thermocouples in many industrial applications, such as in heating and ventilation systems. The B1017-12 is a solid state device which is resistant to vibration and shock, making it a robust piece of industrial equipment.
