Additional Infomation About Product

The D-D2N part of Leach is a distributed distributed-two-level network protocol that can be used to enable distributed networked devices to communicate with each other. It was specifically designed for low-power, wireless sensor networks and provides an alternative to other ad-hoc routing protocols. D-D2N divides the network into two sections – a clustered part and a mesh part. Each node in the clustered portion becomes a “cluster head” that is responsible for controlling the communications within the cluster. Nodes in the mesh section communicate with each other using a decentralized routing protocol, which eliminates the need for central control of a network. Nodes in the two sections are able to communicate with each other using efficient and reliable communications.
