Additional Infomation About Product

The GL25516 with Photoresistors ThroughHole RoHS is a resistive device manufactured by Jing Chuang. It is designed to detect the presence of light by converting visible light into an electrical signal. It consists of semiconductor material that absorbs and emits light energy. When light hits the device, electrons are freed and create a flow of electric current. The level of resistance the device experiences will be proportional to the amount of light it is exposed to. This makes it useful for sensing and controlling light levels in a range of different applications. This part is RoHS compliant, meaning that it does not contain any of the substances restricted by the Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive. It is also designed to be mounted through a hole in the circuit board, allowing it to be easily installed and replaced.
