ECKThe ASMD0805-005 with PTC Resettable Fuses 0805 RoHS manufactured by JDTECK is an 8x5mm overcurrent protection device designed to protect against short- and medium-term overcurrent events. This device features a built-in PTC (positive temperature coefficient) fuse providing instantaneous and reliable overcurrent protection on the circuit and offering auto-resetting features when short-term overcurrent conditions are exceeded. The PTC material used in this device is RoHS compliant (Lead-Free) to ensure the device’s environmental safety and compliance. It is also rated as a 5A current limiter, allowing it to handle up to 5 Amps of fault current without heat or damage to the device and capable of interrupting that current within five milliseconds. The ASMD0805-005 is available in tape and reel packaging for making it more convenient and cost effective for assembly line production.
