The Intel EPCQ64ASI16N is a 64-Mbit Configuration Memory for FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays). This configuration memory solution is a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) Flash memory device with byte level programming capabilities. It has 64-Mbit (8 Megabytes) of Flash memory with enhanced features, such as uniform 256-byte programming, Sector/Sub-sector Erase, and software-controlled low power optimized standby and deep power down modes. It provides an SPI clock frequency up to 75 MHz and includes an additional Ring oscillator, separate from the main oscillator, to generate a maximum read frequency of 75 MHz. It is RoHS compliant and Industrial temperature range rated. The fast serial configuration solution allows the FPGA to be configured and reconfigured quickly with minimal power consumption.
