The Holtek HT7A6322 is a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) used in power distribution applications. It is packaged in a 8-pin surface mount SOP-8 150 mil package (RoHS) and is designed for high density switching operations. The device can be used to switch power sources, control and protect external loads, and provide efficient power management. The device works by selectively connecting power sources to loads based on the current state of the device (high or low). Features include input voltage (VB) detection, output voltage (VA) control, and over temperature protection. Additionally, the device has an adjustable switching frequency and a built-in circuit to prevent signal interference in the form of a current limit. The device is designed for low power applications and can handle peak currents up to 1A.
