The L293DN with Motor Drivers DIP-16 RoHS is a motor driver integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by HGSEMI. The device is a quadruple high-current half-H driver IC. It is designed to provide bidirectional drive currents of up to 1A at voltages from 4.5V to 36V. It is suitable for driving induction motors and two-phase stepper motors and can be used in a wide variety of motor-control applications. The device features low standby current draw, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown protection, symmetric outputs and logic supply options, resulting in a robust and reliable driver. It is RoHS compliant and comes in a 16-Pin DIP (Dual In-line Package).
