The HG24LC16M/TR is a 16k-bit electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) chip manufactured by HGSEMI. It is available in a surface-mount SOP-8 package with pins 8-2 and is compliant with EU RoHS regulations. This device has been designed with an industry-standard two-wire I2C interface, allowing transmission speeds of up to 400k baud. It offers one-time and unlimited rewrites, making it suitable for a variety of data storage applications. Data can also be written in batches, allowing storage of larger blocks of data with fewer write cycles. It offers a maximum write/erase cycle endurance of 1,000,000 and data retention of up to 100 years. The various features include 16Kbits of memory, a 100ns access speed and a self-timed write cycle.
