The FT24C1024A-USR-B is an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) designed and manufactured by Fremont Micro Devices. It is packaged in an 8 pin SOP (Small Outline Package) and is compliant with ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) requirements. The FT24C1024A-USR-B has a capacity of up to 1024kbits and can be programmed and erased with the applications of electrical signals (voltage or current) applied to the pins. It is equipped with a maximum operating voltage of 5.5V and the Write/Erase cycle endurance is up to 1 million times. The access time and data retention time are rated at 20ms and 100 years respectively. The FT24C1024A-USR-B is best suited for variety of applications including system/equipment configuration data storage and its non-volatile memory function is widely used in computers, modern control systems, intelligent instruments and industrial automation devices.
