Enpirion Power Datasheet EN23F2QI 15A PowerSoC Voltage Mode Synchronous Buck With Integrated Inductor Not Recommended for New Designs Description Features The EN23F2QI is a Power System on a Chip Integrated Inductor, MOSFETs, Controller 2 (PowerSoC) DC-DC converter. It integrates MOSFET Total Solution Size Estimate 308mm switches, small-signal control circuits, compensation Wide Input Voltage Range: 4.5V 13.2V and an integrated inductor in an advanced 1% Initial Output Voltage Accuracy 12x13x3mm QFN module. It offers high efficiency, excellent line and load regulation. The EN23F2QI Master/Slave Parallel Operation (up to 4 devices) operates over a wide input voltage range and is Frequency Synchronization (External Clock) specifically designed to meet the precise voltage and Output Enable Pin and Power OK Signal fast transient requirements of high-performance Programmable Soft-Start Time products. The EN23F2QI features frequency Pin Compatible with the EN23F0QI synchronization to an external clock, power OK output voltage monitor, programmable soft-start along Under Voltage Lockout Protection (UVLO) with thermal shutdown, current limit and over current Over Current and Short Circuit Protection protection. The devices advanced circuit design, ultra Pre-Bias Startup Protection high switching frequency and proprietary integrated Thermal Soft-Shutdown Protection inductor technology delivers high-quality, ultra o RoHS compliant, MSL level 3, 260 C reflow compact, non-isolated DC-DC conversion. The Altera Enpirion solution significantly helps in Applications system design and productivity by offering greatly simplified board design, layout and manufacturing Space Constrained Applications requirements. In addition, overall system level Distributed Power Architectures reliability is improved given the small number of Output Voltage Ripple Sensitive Applications components required with the Altera Enpirion Beat Frequency Sensitive Applications solution.
