The EIC Semiconductor 1N4742A is a diode Zener single 12V 5% 1000mW 2-Pin DO-41 component. This diode is designed for reversing, suppression or clipping applications in a wide variety of electronic products. It is capable of blocking reverse voltage up to 12V. The circuit protection device is made from a semiconductor material which is housed in a two-pin DO-41 package. This component can dissipate up to 1000mW of power at a much lower voltage than most other diodes. This makes it suitable for working temperatures from -65°C to +150°C. It offers a high level of efficiency in terms of its ability to limit voltage overshoot and provides extended service life and reliability. The 1N4742A is a reliable, robust and long-lasting electronic part, perfect for a variety of high power applications.
