It is designed to detect infrared radiation of any visible line of light and can be used to detect movement of objects or people, automatically control lighting systems and other home devices such as door locks, solar panels and security systems. It is made of an 8pin dual row SOP-8_150mil package with a RoHS compliance rating, ensuring that it is free from hazardous substances. The device is suitable for applications in indoor and outdoor environments. It features adjustable sensitivity and an operational temperature range of -20 to +85°C.
