Technology The HGS5011 is a series of BiCMOS integrated circuits (ICs) from Coto Technology that provide voltage-regulated and regulated DC/DC fan control. In addition, the HGS5011 also offers a secondary error amplifier, enabling it to compensate for current transducer losses and to reduce the power dissipation of the fan motor. The device also includes protection against over and under-voltage, over-temperature and over-current conditions and provides a dual output efficiency of 98%. Finally, the HGS5011 is designed to reduce EMI interference, thus making it a suitable choice for applications with stringent EMI requirements.
