The T2N3055 is a high-power transistor manufactured by Continental Device India Limited (CDIL). It is a NPN (negative-positive-negative) type of bipolar junction transistor, used in audio amplification and other power switching applications. It consists of three pins — the base, collector, and emitter. It is able to handle up to a maximum of 60 volts and 15 amperes of current output. It also has a maximum power dissipation rate of 180 watts. Applications of the T2N3055 include audio amplifiers, DC motor speed controllers, inverters, switching power supplies, and low-voltage battery chargers.
