ACPL-H312 and ACPL-K312 2.5 Amp Output Current IGBT Gate Drive Optocoupler with Low I and UVLO in Stretched SO8 CC Data Sheet Description Features The ACPL-H312/K312 contains a GaAsP LED. The LED is 2.5 A maximum peak output current optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output 2.0 A minimum peak output current stage. These optocouplers are ideally suited for driving power 15 kV/s minimum Common Mode Rejection (CMR) at IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor control inverter applications. V = 1500 V CM The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides 0.5 V maximum low level output voltage (VOL) the drive voltages required by gate controlled devices. The I = 3 mA maximum supply current CC voltage and current supplied by these optocouplers make Under Voltage Lock-Out protection (UVLO) with hysteresis them ideally suited for directly driving IGBTs with ratings up to 1200V/100A. For IGBTs with higher ratings, the Package Clearance and Creepage at 8mm (ACPL-K312) ACPL-H312/K312 series can be used to drive a discrete power Wide operating VCC range: 15 to 30 Volts stage which drives the IGBT gate. The ACPL-H312 has an 500 ns maximum switching speeds insulation voltage of V = 891 V (Option 060).
