15-6 814 GAS DISCHARGE TUBES October, 2015 Bourns Model 2015 Series Gas Discharge Tube Surge Arrestor to be Discontinued Bourns has decided to discontinue the Model 2015 Series Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) Surge Arrestor with FLAT technology. Th is decision is based on needed consolidation of product platforms to help simplify manufacturing. Customers interested in Bourns FLAT technology GDTs will be supported with the Model 2017 Series. For more product information, please visit www.bourns.com. Th e Model 2017 provides the same PCB footprint as the Model 2015 but with a higher surge current rating. Minor diff erences are a 0.4 mm height diff erence in the SMH version and a 0.2 mm width diff erence in the SMC version as compared to the Model 2015. Please see the suggested replacements.
