The BTC801N with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) 1812 RoHS is an electronic part manufactured by Bourne. It is a type of Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) and Transient Suppression System (TSS) combination. This product is designed to be used in power supply and noise suppression applications, such as those found in industrial, commercial, and automotive environments. It consists of a ceramic body with two axial leads and built-in Discharge Tubes which are configured in an X-type construction. These Discharge Tubes are designed to absorb high-frequency transients and regulate ESD voltages. The BTC801N is compliant with RoHS directives and it can operate at a voltage up to 1500 VDC/AC. It also has a high pulse current rating of 8 kV, making it suitable for applications that require high surge protection.
