It is a surface-mount, radial leaded component designed to protect against overvoltage conditions. It features a ceramic enclosure that contains a gas-filled glass tube, designed to discharge any electric impulse when a high voltage is present. It can be used in telecommunications, power management systems, industrial, and automotive applications.
