MAX691A/MAX693A/ Microprocessor Supervisory Circuits MAX800L/MAX800M General Description Features The MAX691A/MAX693A/MAX800L/MAX800M micro- 200ms Power-OK/Reset Timeout Period processor (P) supervisory circuits are pin-compatible 1A Standby Current, 30A Operating Current upgrades to the MAX691, MAX693, and MAX695. They On-Board Gating of Chip-Enable Signals, 10ns max improve performance with 30A supply current, 200ms Delay typ reset active delay on power-up, and 6ns chip-enable MaxCap or SuperCap Compatible propagation delay. Features include write protection Guaranteed RESET Assertion to V = +1V CC of CMOS RAM or EEPROM, separate watchdog out- Voltage Monitor for Power-Fail or Low-Battery puts, backup-battery switchover, and a RESET output that is valid with V down to 1V.
