LTM8025 36V, 3A Step-Down Module Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Complete Step-Down Switch Mode Power Supply The LTM 8025 is a 36V , 3A step-down Module IN n Wide Input Voltage Range: 3.6V to 36V (micromodule) converter. Included in the package are n Up to 3A Output Current the switching controller, power switches, inductor and n Parallelable for Increased Output Current all support components. Operating over an input voltage n 0.8V to 24V Output Voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, the LTM8025 supports an output n Selectable Switching Frequency: 200kHz to 2.4MHz voltage range of 0.8V to 24V and a switching frequency n Current Mode Control range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz, each set by a single resistor. n SnPb or RoHS Compliant Finish Only the bulk input and output filter capacitors are needed n Programmable Soft-Start to finish the design. n 9mm 15mm 4.32mm LGA and 9mm 15mm The LTM8025 is packaged in a thermally enhanced, com- 4.92mm BGA Packages pact (9mm 15mm) and low profile over-molded land grid array (LGA) and ball grid array (BGA) packages suit- APPLICATIONS able for automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment.
