LTM4627 15A DC/DC Module Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Complete 15A Switch Mode Power Supply The LTM 4627 is a complete 15A output high efficiency n Wide Input Voltage Range: 4.5V to 20V switch mode DC/DC power supply. Included in the pack- n 0.6V to 5V Output Range age are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor n 1.5% Total DC Output Error and compensation components. Operating over an input n Differential Remote Sense Amplifier for Precision voltage range from 4.5V to 20V, the LTM4627 supports an Regulation output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, set by a single external n Current Mode Control/ Fast Transient Response resistor. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed. n Frequency Synchronization Current mode operation allows precision current sharing n Parallel Current Sharing (Up to 60A) of up to four LTM4627 regulators to obtain 60A output. n Selectable Pulse-Skipping or Burst Mode Operation High switching frequency and a current mode architecture n Soft-Start/Voltage Tracking enable a very fast transient response to line and load n Up to 93% Efficiency (12V , 3.3V ) IN OUT changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports n Overcurrent Foldback Protection frequency synchronization, multiphase/current sharing n Output Overvoltage Protection operation, Burst Mode operation and output voltage track- n Small Surface Mount Footprint, Low Profile ing for supply rail sequencing. 15mm 15mm 4.32mm LGA and The LTM4627 is offered in thermally enhanced 15mm 15mm 15mm 4.92mm BGA Packages 15mm 4.32mm LGA and 15mm 15mm 4.92mm BGA APPLICATIONS packages.
