LTM4600 10A High Efficiency DC/DC Module Fea T Descrip T n Complete Switch Mode Power Supply The LTM 4600 is a complete 10A, DC/DC step down power n Wide Input Voltage Range: 4.5V to 20V supply. Included in the package are the switching control- n 10A DC, 14A Peak Output Current ler, power FETs, inductor, and all support components. n Parallel Two Module DC/DC Converters for 20A Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 20V, the Output Current LTM4600 supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, n 0.6V to 5V Output Voltage set by a single resistor. This high efficiency design delivers n 1.5% Output Voltage Regulation 10A continuous current (14A peak), needing no heat sinks n Ultrafast Transient Response or airflow to meet power specifications. Only bulk input n Current Mode Control and output capacitors are needed to finish the design. n RoHS Compliant Package The low profile package (2.82mm) enables utilization of n Up to 92% Efficiency unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density n Programmable Soft-Start point of load regulation. High switching frequency and an n Output Overvoltage Protection adaptive on-time current mode architecture enables a very n Optional Short-Circuit Shutdown Timer fast transient response to line and load changes without n Small Footprint, Low Profile (15mm 15mm sacrificing stability. Fault protection features include 2.82mm) Surface Mount LGA Package integrated overvoltage and short circuit protection with a defeatable shutdown timer.
