LTM4600HV 10A, 28V High Efficiency IN DC/DC Module Fea T Descrip T n Complete Switch Mode Power Supply The LTM 4600HV is a complete 10A, DC/DC step down n Wide Input Voltage Range: 4.5V to 28V power supply with up to 28V input operation. Included n 10A DC, 12A Peak Output Current in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, n Parallel Two Module DC/DC Converters for 20A inductor, and all support components. Operating over Output Current an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V, the LTM4600HV n 0.6V to 5V Output Voltage supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, set by a n 1.5% Output Voltage Regulation single resistor. This high efficiency design delivers 10A n Ultrafast Transient Response continuous current (12A peak), needing no heat sinks or n Current Mode Control airflow to meet power specifications. Only bulk input and n 55C to 125C Operating Temperature Range output capacitors are needed to finish the design. (LTM4600HVMPV) The low profile package (2.82mm) enables utilization of n RoHS Compliant Package with Gold Pad Finish (e4) unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density n Up to 92% Efficiency point of load regulation. High switching frequency and an n Programmable Soft-Start adaptive on-time current mode architecture enables a very n Output Overvoltage Protection fast transient response to line and load changes without n Optional Short-Circuit Shutdown Timer sacrificing stability. Fault protection features include n Small Footprint, Low Profile (15mm 15mm integrated overvoltage and short circuit protection with 2.82mm) LGA Package a defeatable shutdown timer.
