DG508A/DG509A 19-0028 Rev 4 5/10 Monolithic CMOS Analog Multiplexers General Description Features Maxims DG508A and DG509A are monolithic CMOS Improved Second Source analog multiplexers (muxes): the DG508A is a single Operate from 4.5V to 18V Supplies 8-channel (1-of-8) mux, and the DG509A is a differen- tial 4-channel (2-of-8) mux. Symmetrical, Bidirectional Operation Both devices guarantee break-before-make switching. Logic and Enable Inputs, TTL and Maxim guarantees these muxes will not latch up if the CMOS Compatible power supplies are turned off with the input signals still present. Maxim also guarantees continuous operation Latchup-Proof Construction when these devices are powered by supplies ranging Monolithic, Low-Power CMOS Design from 4.5V to 18V. The DG508A/DG509A are plug-in upgrades for the Ordering Information industry-standard DG508A/DG509A, respectively. Maxims parts have faster enable switching times and PART TEMP RANGE PIN-PACKAGE significantly lower leakage currents.
