The AS3931 is an RFID reader IC from ams that is designed for use in contactless applications. It is compliant with ISO14443 and ISO 15693 tags and works with NFC Forum tags. It offers a wide range of features such as fast reading speed, low power consumption, and an integrated antenna. The IC also comes with a built-in EEPROM, allowing for the storage of user and configuration data. The AS3931 is available in an 8-pin SOT-23 and a 14-pin TSSOP package and is designed to meet the needs of smartcards and NFC-enabled applications.
