The devices can be programmed via an IC compatible interface. Open and Shorted LED Error Detection The AS1130 offers a 12x11 LED-Matrix with 1/12 cycle rate. The 132 LEDs in Dot Matrix required lines to drive all 132 LEDs are reduced to 12 by using the Low-Power Shutdown Current cross-plexing feature optimizing space on the PCB. The whole LED- Individual 8-bit LED PWM Control Matrix driving 132 LEDs can be analog dimmed from 0 to 30mA in 8-bit Analog Brightness Control 256 steps (8 bit). 8-bit Dot Correction for optimize RGB LED Operation Additionally each of the 132 LEDs can be dimmed individually with 8- Programmable IRQ pin bit allowing 256 steps of linear dimming. To reduce CPU usage up to 6 frames can be stored with individual time delays between frames to Scroll Function play small animations automatically. up to 36 Frames Memory for Animations The AS1130 operates from 2.7V to 5.5V and features a very low up to 6 Frames Memory for PWM sets shutdown and operational current. Supply Voltage Range: 2.7V to 5.5V The device offers a programmable IRQ pin. Via a register it can be Minimum PCB space required set on what event (CP request, Interface time out, Error-detection, Available packages: POR, End of Frame or End of Movie) the IRO is triggered. - 20-pin WL-CSP Also hardware scroll Function is implemented in the AS1130. - 28-pin SSOP (planned) The device is available in a ultrasmall 20-pin WL-CSP and an easy to solder 28-pin SSOP package. 3 Applications The AS1130 is ideal for dot matrix displays in mobile phones, per- sonal electronic and toys.
