02 The N5457A is a part of the Agilent Technologies U1732B Handheld Digital Multimeter (HDM). It is a 12-bit, 50 Mega Sample-per-Second (MS/s), isolated, isolated RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) Module. It is designed specifically to enable high speed, accurate temperature measurement and control in demanding industrial environments. The module is designed to be used with the U1732B HDM, allowing for convenient and easy integration into industrial control systems for monitoring temperatures of up to 1000°C. The module features 24-bit, 5-shot averaging, eliminating the need for tedious manual data logging. In addition, the N5457A can be used with a variety of popular communication protocols, including Ethernet, Modbus, and Profibus.
