ROHM's BD6994FV-GE2 is a single-rank mini-mold phase motor driver designed to provide precise control of 4-phase stepping motors with a maximum current output of 4 A/phase. This chip is an ideal solution for applications requiring precise motion control. It features a unique dual-mode operation for high-performance motor control, enabling a variety of operation modes, such as unwinding and current decay for increased efficiency and improved power consumption. The chip's onboard microcontroller with PWM ramping ensures smooth motor control, while an integrated offset compensation circuit ensures stable operation in the most demanding conditions. Additionally, the integrated overcurrent protection circuit and built-in error detection functions ensure a high degree of safety. This chip is an ideal solution for driving stepping motors with a maximum current output of 4 A/phase in a variety of applications, including remote control, model trains, 3D capitalization and robotics.
