's Spartan-3E FPGA family
The 1765XSC part of the Spartan-3E FPGA family is a low-cost, low-power Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) device from Xilinx. It contains 17,152 logic cells, up to 82Kbits of block RAM and 2,040 Kbits of distributed RAM. The Spartan-3E family also includes range of capability and I/O configurations that enable designers to optimize the system cost and power consumption. It supports up to 24 different banks of I/Os, each with either one or two external ports to the FPGA, allowing for flexibility in the configuration of the system. It also controls up to 512 18-bit Multiplier/Accumulator (MAC) functions, making it ideal for use in applications needing intensive mathematical processing. In addition, it incorporates six of Xilinx's Adaptive Logic Modules (ALMs) that delivers up to ten times the performance of an equivalent-sized traditional logic array. The Spartan-3E FPGA also supports multiple CoolRunner-II CPLD devices. This makes it ideal for implementations requiring high system integration.
