The THVD1550DR is a 5V RS-485 Transceiver IC manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a monolithic half-duplex transceiver IC that operates at data rates up to 10 Mbps. The device features an integrated 2-wire bus transceiver for communication over differential signaling with shorter line lengths. It supports full-duplex and 3-wire half-duplex communications. The device is compatible with various protocols such as EIA/TIA-485, EIA/TIA-422, RS-485, RS-422, and RS-232.
